Job Description
The Portfolio Manager for the DSA (Direct Selling Agent) vertical will be responsible for driving sales of home loan products through the DSA channel within the assigned area. The role involves managing a team of sales executives, establishing and maintaining relationships with DSAs, ensuring targets are met, and implementing strategies to maximize sales. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Achieve sales targets for home loans through the DSA channel in the assigned area. Identify and onboard new DSAs to expand the distribution network. Monitor and support DSAs to improve productivity and ensure consistent sales performance. Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales executives to achieve business objectives. Provide guidance, coaching, and motivation to the team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans when necessary. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with DSAs, ensuring they are well-equipped and motivated to promote the company’s home loan products. Conduct regular meetings and trainings to keep DSAs updated about product features, lending criteria, and policy changes. Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth. Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to capture a larger market share. Provide insights and feedback to senior management regarding market conditions, product enhancements, and process improvements. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all DSAs adhere to the company’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage the credit risk associated with DSA-originated loans, ensuring high-quality loan disbursals. Reporting and MIS: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, performance metrics, and DSA engagements. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the management.
