Job Description

Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others. Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and integrity of databases. Perform regular database backups and recover data in the event of failures. Conduct regular database health checks and troubleshoot performance issues. Analyze and optimize queries, indexes, and database structures to ensure high performance. Regularly review and audit database access and activity for compliance with security standards and regulations. Work with developers and system architects to define data requirements and translate them into database solutions. Regularly apply software updates, patches, and upgrades to DBMS systems and databases to keep them current and secure.
