The Medical Oncologist is a specialist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer patients. The role involves providing medical care for cancer patients, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other therapeutic treatments, as well as participating in multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive cancer care. The Medical Oncologist is responsible for monitoring patient progress, managing side effects of treatment, and providing patient education and emotional support.
