Key Responsibilities: Student Guidance: Counsel students on academic programs, career paths, and skill-building opportunities. Help students set realistic educational and personal goals and develop action plans to achieve them. Provide support for students experiencing academic challenges or personal difficulties. Academic Support: Assist students in choosing appropriate courses, programs, and learning strategies. Identify students who may need additional academic support and recommend resources or interventions. Career Counseling: Guide students on career options, internships, and future opportunities aligned with their interests and strengths. Conduct workshops on resume writing, interview preparation, and job market trends. Mental Well-being: Offer a safe and confidential space for students to discuss emotional or psychological challenges. Refer students to professional mental health services when necessary. Parent and Teacher Collaboration: Engage with parents and teachers to address students’ holistic development. Provide updates on students’ progress and suggest strategies for support. Workshops and Seminars: Organize sessions on time management, stress management, and study techniques. Host awareness programs on topics like mental health, career planning, and personal development. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress. Prepare reports on student performance, challenges, and outcomes to aid in decision-making. Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with institutional policies and ethical standards in counseling practices.
