Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business LAP Area Manager to join our team in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving LAP sales, developing a strong distribution network, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires identifying and onboarding channel partners such as Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), financial consultants, and real estate agents to generate leads and grow the business. The candidate must establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, ensuring adherence to business policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
The LAP Area Manager will be responsible for handling the complete loan application process, assisting customers with documentation, and ensuring smooth and timely disbursal of loans. This includes working closely with internal teams such as Credit, Operations, and Legal to optimize turnaround time (TAT) and enhance service delivery. A key aspect of this role is to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing real-time updates on loan applications and resolving any issues proactively. The candidate will also be responsible for cross-selling insurance and other financial products to maximize revenue opportunities.
The role demands a deep understanding of LAP products, lending policies, and compliance regulations, as well as excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills. The candidate should be proficient in managing MIS reports, tracking business performance, and ensuring operational efficiency. A strong customer-centric approach, combined with the ability to work in a target-driven environment, is crucial. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, with 3-8 years of experience in LAP sales, mortgage loans, or secured lending. Experience in the NBFC, banking, or housing finance sectors will be highly preferred.
