Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage manufacturing operations efficiently. The role involves production planning, process optimization, quality assurance, cost control, and team management to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing, leadership, and process improvement to drive efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet business goals.
- Allocate resources (manpower, machinery, and materials) efficiently.
- Ensure timely production while maintaining cost efficiency and minimal downtime.
2. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies for operational excellence.
- Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as efficiency, downtime, and quality metrics.
3. Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure production processes adhere to quality standards (ISO, GMP, HACCP, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to maintain compliance with company and regulatory policies.
