Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Area Manager – Business LAP (Loan Against Property) to join our team in the fast-paced Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector. This role is pivotal in driving LAP sales, expanding distribution channels, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of secured lending products, particularly LAP, along with strong sales acumen and a proven ability to build and manage channel partner networks.

As an Area Manager, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust distribution network by identifying and onboarding Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), financial consultants, and real estate agents. A key focus will be to ensure adherence to internal policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while establishing long-term, productive relationships with channel partners. The role will involve end-to-end management of the loan application process, including assisting customers with documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders such as Credit, Operations, and Legal teams, and ensuring seamless and timely disbursal of loans.

Customer satisfaction will be a critical success factor in this role. The candidate is expected to provide real-time updates on loan status, address customer queries proactively, and resolve any issues to enhance overall service quality. Additionally, the role includes cross-selling financial products such as insurance to increase wallet share and boost overall revenue.

To succeed in this position, the candidate must possess strong knowledge of LAP products, lending practices, and compliance frameworks, coupled with excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Proficiency in managing MIS reports, monitoring business performance, and maintaining operational efficiency is essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in LAP or secured lending, preferably within the NBFC, banking, or housing finance sectors.
