Job Description

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, compliance, and audit coordination. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial data and supports strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

   • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

   • Ensure timely submission of financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.

   • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

   • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

   • Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis to management.

   • Support strategic planning with financial insights and modeling.

3. Internal Controls & Risk Management

   • Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.

   • Evaluate and improve accounting processes and policies to enhance efficiency and compliance.

   • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

   • Monitor daily cash flow, manage liquidity, and oversee banking relationships.

   • Optimize working capital through effective receivables, payables, and inventory management.

5. Team Leadership & Collaboration

   • Manage and mentor the finance team, including accountants and analysts.

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and financial performance.

   • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party consultants.
