Job Description

The Investment Analyst is responsible for conducting research, analyzing financial data, and supporting the investment team in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities. This role plays a crucial part in portfolio management, financial modeling, and the formulation of investment strategies to help drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Modeling & Valuation

   • Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities (e.g., DCF, comparable company analysis).

   • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.

2. Market & Industry Research

   • Perform qualitative and quantitative research on markets, sectors, and companies.

   • Track economic indicators, market trends, and global financial developments.

3. Investment Due Diligence

   • Assist in evaluating the financial health and strategic fit of target companies or assets.

   • Analyze financial statements, management teams, and competitive positioning.

4. Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting

   • Monitor the performance of existing investments and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

   • Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal stakeholders or clients.

5. Stakeholder Communication

   • Support investment presentations to senior leadership or clients.

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, strategy, and legal.
