Job Description

The Excel Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering insightful reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel. This role involves analyzing large datasets, automating reporting processes, and providing data-driven insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Report Development & Automation

    • Design, create, and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards.

    • Automate repetitive reporting tasks using macros, VBA, and advanced Excel functions.

  2. Data Analysis & Interpretation

    • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and key performance indicators.

    • Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to support management.

  3. Data Management

    • Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources for reporting purposes.

    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data in all reports.

  4. Collaboration

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Operations) to understand reporting needs.

    • Provide training and support on Excel reporting tools to end-users.

  5. Continuous Improvement

    • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and tools.

    • Stay updated with the latest Excel features and best practices.
