Job Description
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial statements, managing audits, and leading the accounting team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, implementing internal controls, and supporting strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations Management

Supervise day-to-day accounting processes, including ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries.

Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.

Taxation & Statutory Filings

Oversee preparation and filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns.

Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities as needed.

Audit Management

Team Leadership & Development

Manage and mentor the accounting team.

Allocate tasks, review work, and provide training to improve team skills.
