Job Description

The Finance & Accounts cum Costing Manager will lead the financial and costing operations of the organization. This role is responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, budget control, and product costing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of financial regulations, cost analysis, and financial planning to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Supervise all daily accounting operations: general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and compliance.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in book closures and reconciliations.

Costing & Budgeting

• Develop and implement cost accounting systems for tracking product/service costs.

• Analyze cost variances and suggest cost-control strategies.

• Support in preparing standard costs and rolling budgets.

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audits and tax filings (GST, TDS, etc.).

• Ensure all financial activities comply with local laws and company policies.

• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls.

Strategic Financial Management

• Assist in financial forecasting, planning, and strategy formulation.

• Monitor cash flows, working capital, and fund allocation.

• Evaluate financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the finance team in accounting, costing, and reporting practices.

• Streamline financial processes for improved efficiency and compliance.
