Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Collections Manager – Digital Portfolio to lead and manage collections activities for our digital lending products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving collection efficiency, driving recovery strategies, and leading a team to reduce delinquency and default rates using data-driven, customer-centric approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end collections process for the digital portfolio (BNPL, consumer loans, personal finance apps, etc.)

• Analyze borrower behavior, delinquency trends, and formulate effective recovery strategies

• Oversee field collections, tele-calling teams, and digital contact channels (email, SMS, WhatsApp)

• Monitor daily collections performance, DPD (Days Past Due), and aging reports

• Collaborate with product, tech, and risk teams to improve repayment workflows

• Ensure adherence to RBI and industry regulations for debt recovery

• Handle escalations and provide resolution strategies for difficult or high-ticket accounts

• Regularly audit and optimize collections processes to improve efficiency and customer experience

• Prepare and present MIS reports to leadership, highlighting collections KPIs

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of collection agents and regional recovery leads
