Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT System Engineer – Linux to manage, monitor, and optimize Linux-based systems across our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server configuration, shell scripting, system automation, and troubleshooting across Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and applications

• Perform system updates, patching, and security hardening

• Monitor server performance, logs, and troubleshoot system issues

• Automate recurring tasks using shell scripts or tools like Ansible

• Manage file systems, user accounts, and access control policies

• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams on deployment support

• Ensure backups, disaster recovery readiness, and uptime metrics

• Maintain documentation and support knowledge base
