Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy E-commerce Accountant to manage financial transactions and reporting for our online business operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in e-commerce accounting, including reconciliation of marketplace sales, managing online payment gateways, GST compliance, and handling returns/refunds. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate recording and analysis of e-commerce revenue streams and costs across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile sales, returns, commissions, and taxes across e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Shopify, etc.)

• Manage marketplace settlements and track pending payments from various online portals.

• Reconcile payment gateways like Razorpay, PayU, Stripe, etc., with sales data and bank statements.

• Ensure timely and accurate GST filings, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliation with GSTR-2A/2B.

• Monitor inventory movements and coordinate with logistics for proper cost accounting.

• Maintain accurate records of promotional expenses, discounts, and platform fees.

• Prepare monthly financial reports, profitability analysis, and MIS related to online sales.

• Support statutory and internal audits with required documentation.

• Coordinate with e-commerce platform representatives for dispute resolution and accounting queries.
