Qualifications & Experience:

  • LLB with 4–6 years of relevant experience
  • Non-litigation profile
  • Strong expertise in BFSI domain, including:
  • Property title report drafting
  • Legal opinion writing
  • Vetting of documentation
  • Original documents verification
  • Legal due diligence & legal audit

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  •          Draft, vet, and review loan agreements, sanction letters, hypothecation deeds, mortgage deeds, NDAs, and other business contracts.
  •          Ensure all agreements are in compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, and internal policies.
  •          Maintain a centralized record of executed agreements and track renewals.
  •          Conduct legal due diligence for borrowers, vendors, and property offered as collateral.
  •          Identify and mitigate legal risks in lending, leasing, and investment transactions.
  •        Verify title documents, encumbrance certificates, and other legal papers related to securities.
  •         Liaise with empaneled advocates for legal opinions and documentation.
  •          Coordinate with government departments, sub-registrar offices, and regulatory authorities for documentation and compliance.
  •          Prepare periodic MIS and reports for management on legal status and compliance updates.
