Qualifications & Experience:
- LLB with 4–6 years of relevant experience
- Non-litigation profile
- Strong expertise in BFSI domain, including:
- Property title report drafting
- Legal opinion writing
- Vetting of documentation
- Original documents verification
- Legal due diligence & legal audit
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Draft, vet, and review loan agreements, sanction letters, hypothecation deeds, mortgage deeds, NDAs, and other business contracts.
- Ensure all agreements are in compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain a centralized record of executed agreements and track renewals.
- Conduct legal due diligence for borrowers, vendors, and property offered as collateral.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks in lending, leasing, and investment transactions.
- Verify title documents, encumbrance certificates, and other legal papers related to securities.
- Liaise with empaneled advocates for legal opinions and documentation.
- Coordinate with government departments, sub-registrar offices, and regulatory authorities for documentation and compliance.
- Prepare periodic MIS and reports for management on legal status and compliance updates.
