Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, reconciling bank accounts, and managing routine accounting operations. The role requires accuracy, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping:

Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records using software such as Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks.

Post journal entries, review ledgers, and assist with balance sheet finalization.

Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions.
Taxation & Compliance:

Prepare and file GST, TDS, and income tax returns.

Ensure timely compliance with statutory obligations.

Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
Bank & Cash Management:

Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.

Oversee expense reimbursements, vendor payments, and client collections.
Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Generate MIS reports and support management with financial insights.

Monitor budgets and track variances against financial plans.
Coordination & Support:

Collaborate with auditors and external consultants on accounting matters.

Support internal teams with invoice processing, vendor agreements, and tax-related queries.
