Job Description

The Business Development Executive - Export is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in international markets, managing export sales activities, and building strong relationships with overseas clients. This role involves researching global market trends, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of export operations. The goal is to drive revenue growth through international sales and expand the company’s global footprint.Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify potential international markets and new business opportunities for the company’s products or services. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in various regions. Identify target countries and regions for export expansion and assess the demand for the company’s products in those markets. Lead Generation and Client Acquisition: Identify and develop relationships with potential international clients, distributors, or partners through various channels such as trade shows, cold calls, emails, and social media. Maintain a database of prospective clients and work to convert them into long-term business partners. Develop and execute strategies to grow the company’s international client base and increase sales in target export markets. Sales and Negotiation: Promote the company’s products or services to international clients, ensuring that the offerings align with their needs. Negotiate terms of business, including pricing, shipping, payment terms, and delivery timelines. Work closely with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of quotations and proposals sent to potential clients. Export Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all export transactions comply with international trade regulations, including customs, duties, and documentation requirements. Coordinate the preparation and submission of necessary export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions. Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and compliant shipment of goods. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with international clients and distributors. Act as the primary point of contact for overseas clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Foster long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and client loyalty.
