Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and taxation, with prior experience in the jewelry or manufacturing sector being an advantage. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, support audits, and provide valuable insights to guide business growth and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.

Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory tax returns in line with Indian regulations.

Record-Keeping: Maintain complete financial documentation, reconciliations, and ledgers for transparency and accuracy.

Payroll Management: Oversee salary processing and employee financial records.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets, financial forecasts, and provide analysis to support management decisions.

Audit Coordination: Collaborate with auditors and ensure adherence to internal controls and statutory requirements.

Inventory Valuation: Track inventory costing and valuation, particularly in relation to production processes.

Banking & Cash Management: Manage banking operations, reconcile funds, and liaise with financial institutions when required.
