As an SEO professional, the role involves conducting keyword research and creating keyword mapping for blogs, category pages, and landing pages, while also identifying content gaps and new topic opportunities. The responsibilities include on-page SEO optimization such as improving meta titles, descriptions, header tags, internal linking, and schema markup, along with ensuring content readability and alignment with search intent. The profile also requires managing technical SEO by monitoring site health through tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or SEMrush, resolving issues related to site speed, crawlability, indexing, redirects, canonicalization, sitemaps, and robots.txt. Additionally, the candidate will handle off-page SEO and outreach, building high-quality backlinks through guest posting, PR, and partnerships, as well as managing toxic backlinks to improve domain authority. Regular analytics and reporting will be expected, including tracking traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions using tools such as Google Analytics, GSC, and Ahrefs/SEMrush, while preparing monthly reports with actionable insights. The role also requires competitor and market research to analyze competitor websites, backlinks, and keep up to date with Google algorithm changes and industry trends to maintain strong organic visibility and growth.
