Job Title: Purchase Manager – Gold & Diamond Jewellery

Location: Krishna Nagar, Delhi 
Experience Required: 2–5 Years in Gold & Diamond Jewellery Purchase

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities for gold and diamond jewellery. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management skills, industry knowledge of precious metals and stones, and expertise in negotiating best rates while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end procurement of gold, diamonds, and other precious/semi-precious stones.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, traders, and vendors.

• Negotiate rates, credit terms, and contracts to optimize purchase costs.

• Ensure quality verification and certification of diamonds and gemstones.

• Monitor gold and diamond market trends, pricing, and currency fluctuations.

• Maintain accurate purchase records, inventory reports, and compliance documentation.

• Work closely with design and production teams to meet procurement requirements.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of gold and diamond grading, certification, and pricing.

• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.

• Analytical ability to track market fluctuations and forecast purchase requirements.

• Proficiency in MS Excel/ERP software for purchase & inventory tracking.

• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications:

• Graduate (preferred: Commerce/Business/related field).

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in jewellery purchase/procurement.

• Knowledge of BIS Hallmarking, Kimberley Process, and diamond certification standards (GIA/IGI).
