Job Description
The Exploration Geologist is responsible for identifying and evaluating mineral resources through geological surveys and exploration activities. This role involves conducting fieldwork, analyzing geological data, and utilizing various geological techniques to assess the potential for new mineral discoveries. The Exploration Geologist plays a critical role in supporting mining projects by providing insights into the geology and mineralization of areas of interest.Field Exploration: Conduct geological field studies, including mapping, sampling, and surveying of mineral deposits. Collect and analyze rock, soil, and sediment samples to assess the presence of valuable minerals. Perform geological mapping to identify structures, stratigraphy, and mineralization patterns. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Utilize geological software and tools to interpret geological data and create geological models.
