Job Description
The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing all civil engineering activities on-site for industrial projects. This role involves ensuring that construction work complies with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements while staying on schedule and within budget. The engineer collaborates with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to facilitate smooth project execution.Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for civil engineering activities. Coordinate with project managers and design teams to ensure alignment with project goals and specifications. Oversee site preparation, grading, and the construction of foundations, pavements, and other civil structures. Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Supervise subcontractors and labor crews to ensure that work is performed efficiently and according to project timelines. Technical Oversight: Interpret and review construction drawings, specifications, and design documents to ensure accurate implementation. Provide technical guidance to construction teams regarding civil engineering practices, materials, and methodologies. Address any technical challenges that arise during construction and propose effective solutions.
