Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Admission Counselor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will guide prospective students through the admissions process, provide information about academic programs, and ensure a positive and supportive experience for all applicants. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Prospective Student Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, answering inquiries about academic programs, admission requirements, and campus life. Conduct outreach activities, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings, to engage and recruit potential applicants. Organize and participate in recruitment events, campus tours, and information sessions to promote the institution and its offerings. Application Management: Guide prospective students through the application process, providing assistance with application forms, required documentation, and deadlines. Review applications and supporting materials to ensure they meet admissions criteria and standards. Conduct interviews with applicants when necessary, assessing their suitability for admission and program fit. Student Advising: Provide personalized advising to prospective students, helping them understand program options, career pathways, and financial aid resources. Assist students in identifying their academic interests and selecting appropriate courses and programs that align with their goals. Maintain regular follow-up with applicants to keep them informed about their application status and next steps. Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of prospective students and application data in the admissions database (CRM). Generate reports on recruitment activities, applicant demographics, and enrollment trends to inform strategy and decision-making. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless admissions process and successful student onboarding. Marketing and Outreach: Assist in developing marketing materials and digital content to promote academic programs and enhance the institution’s visibility. Utilize social media and other digital platforms to engage with prospective students and promote events. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective recruitment strategies.
